South Bay Supreme Painting was founded with one simple mission:
Not to conform to the painting industry's standards—but to raise them.
When I moved to the South Bay in February of 2020, I had already spent years in the painting industry. Over the next several years, I watched demand for quality painting explode. While many industries struggled through COVID, painting companies became busier than ever.
During that time, I noticed a few trends that didn't sit right with me.
Material prices continued to rise, yet many painters were still being paid nearly the same wages they had earned years before. I also watched the customer experience become increasingly impersonal. Homeowners would meet a salesperson, then a project manager, then a crew leader—yet often never meet the owner of the company. Jobs would begin with an introduction and end with an email instead of a final walkthrough.
Most importantly, I rarely saw companies giving back to the communities that made their businesses possible.
That's why I started South Bay Supreme Painting.

I wanted to paint my place myself because i find painting to be a peaceful activity, but unfortunately the busy schedule and responsibilities of life would not allow me to. I still had to have my place painted because the energy in the place now of shiny white walls everywhere was getting to me.
That was when I remember that the owner of supreme painting, mac, had stopped by recently to tell me about his company and the community outreach he was starting. I had followed him on his social media and seemed pretty legitimate.
I called and booked an estimate and he gave me the price that day. The first price he gave me was just out of my price range, but he told me if i was ok with him doing the work and it taking a little longer then he could help with the price, and boy did I get my moneys worth.
Ive had some pretty rough experiences with other contractors so I'm skittish on hiring people in the contracting field, but the experience was all that he talks it up to be. Ill be honest at first he seemed a little over confident with being able to change my mind about contractors, but in the long run I started to realize he just really loves his work. I was not the easiest client either. I had him put up a lot of color samples, even though he recommended I not do that. Funny thing was, he was right, in the end I went with the colors from the first samples.
It ended up taking a day loner then expected because I had him do a couple accent walls, but when I tried to give him extra he said not to worry about it, just give him this review and tell people about my experience, and make sure to tell my friends and give him a call next time and we will call it even.
Definitely pleasantly surprised and happy with the service and work. Didnt change my mind on shady contractors though, just on him not being one. Thanks again Mac

At first I didnt like Mac. He seemed cocky. But then one day I left the job site after finish this older ladies house, and I forgot my tip and housing for my sprayer at the job site. I needed it for this job iI was doing over the weekend so Saturday morning I went back to her house, and mac was out there painting a room for her that she said she told me she couldn't afford. O knew he didnt charge her because i even had given her a cheap price for it and She didn't have the money. I didnt even know he could paint. I aint never heard him brag or say anything about it to anyone. Not even me. After that, he didnt bother me as much. Turns out hes a good dude, and we are still good friends 6 years later.
